When the weather will settles down, I'd like to go camping in the Fernandina area. Haven't been there in years. My dad's family used to rent a beach house there in the 50s, and I spent many a pleasant weekend up there when I was a kid.

I hope you enjoy it. That area is less filled with tourists and you usually can get lots of beach to yourself without being cramped. Bring stuff you might need since they only have a K-Mart and Wal-Mart there. If you need other stuff you have to drive to Jacksonville.
