Yes, I saw it and have the link on the word document I'm doing for the insurance thread for after this thing hits!!!
nice site - got bandwidth? ;-)
Channel 8
100mph in lakeland extremely unlikely.....possibly a gust may come close in a storm if the right conditions exist....but widespread 100mph wont make it that far.
Just checking in from Dania Beach, Fl south of Fort Lauderdale. 35-45 MPH gusts, stinging showers. Directv dish still holding out, survived Frances. May get ugly yet. Hurricane Fatigue. Just gonna hunker down this time.
Wow, I was wondering because if you are at 100 now then we arent long behind. Dang!
"WFTV IS A GRRREEAT!! NEWS SITE FOR CENTRAL FLORIDA. TOM TERRY ROCKS!"
I agree:) He is excellent...and besides- instead of pre-empting the FSU game for hurricane coverage- they have very kindly kept the game on- doing a split screen when there's a tornado warning etc...
GO SEMINOLES!!!
WB ticker?
I'm hoping not! 75 is plenty. But it doesn't look good.
I felt like a nut, when I did figure it out.
I had never lost power with an electric garage door.
So, how was I supposed to know?
So, did you get over the withdrawl?
hmmm..if that is your number, ya ought not to post it on a thread! But if this is a prank.... :o)
official nws forecast for Lakeland is 35-45mph sustained with gusts to 60mph......i assume the 100mph came from the media......makes for better ratings.
if Lakeland ends up with 100mph this storm will be historical for its windfield and damage.
You rule!
Just like any addict, getting a good fix when I could. :)
I think Charley had 100 mph in Lakeland. we had over 85 from it in Daytona.
I just saw your graphic. I love it! I may have to change my screen name.
yes...Charley was much stronger and was moving much faster and came in closer to you.
Thank you. 35 - 45 would be ok.
