I think they need a 527, "Unimpeachable Sources for Kerry."
Add another chapter to "The Protocols of the Learned Elders of CBS".
This is such bull sh-t. Never would a Squadron Commander discuss such a topic with a very Jr. Officer and his wife. This broad is dingy.
LOL. One of the funniest renditions I've seen.
I take it that -- "cadavers" would include the Kerryites Begala and Carville. Maybe one of them might be "Dupe Throat." They might be hoping that former CBS fans will switch to watching them on CNN. That would help their ratings go up.
Who is "Dupe Throat"?
"I've fought the Bushes. I've fought the Starrs.
I've fought the Thornburghs," Carville: said in a statement.
"Now I am ready to take on the Novaks and the Carlsons."
Thank you. I thought that that sounded a little funny. I'm not military but it does sound a little fishy.
That and this conversation from 30 years ago suddenly pops up in this ladies mind? And the Commanding Officer would discuss subordinates with another subordinate and his WIFE? at a dinner party?? When she says that they really did not know Bush at all?
Perhaps Linke was the one who was afraid to fly.
"Why should we ever believe her drunkard husband "
why should we believe her hearsay testimony of what her drunkard husband allegedly said?
looks like projection on her part.
her hubby did what she is accusing Bush of doing.
she is bitter that it did not happen to Bush.
[BTW - pilots drinking at the club?? who would a thunk?]
ACCK! You beat by a few... But the same thing popped into my mind.
Linke's husband died while serving in the Texas Guard in 1973 after drinking at the officer's club. He nodded off at the wheel, drove into a lake and drowned. Linke was 27 years old with a 3-year-old son. She didn't know much about who W was then; his family was not on the national radar. "We were told his father was very wealthy Texan with CIA connections."
So her husband dies in 1973 but she already knows that some guy they never met or even heard of had a father with CIA connections. Interesting. Here is from the biography of GHW Bush.
Director of Central Intelligence. At the end of 1975, Ford called Bush home to assume an even more delicate assignment that of director of the Central Intelligence Agency.
Actually, in 1973, GHW had already served as the US Ambassador to the United Nations, (appointed in 1971) in those days a far more visible position than the CIA director was. UN Ambassadors got lots of face time on TV back then. People never talked about the CIA director back then.
If this woman had really talked to anyone about this, she would have said his old man was the UN Ambassador, not that he had some connection to the CIA which was at that point 2 years in the future.
Maybe the MSM researchers should start working in their PJs.
Note that there is no mention here of the words "fraud" or "forgery" - in fact, this tries to establish without evidence that Killian signed the forged memos. Utter Barbara Streisand!
Not even a squadron leader - a group leader. Two (or three) steps up the chaain of command, not one. The man probably had better than a hundred pilots working for him.
The source is rotten, but the premise is not implausible, nor is it unusual or dishonorable. Flying a jet fighter, particularly one as cranky as an F-102, is stressful.
Landings would be the worst, as the things came down very fast.
It wouldn't be unusual that a pilot burned out and couldn't handle it anymore. It happens all the time I believe. It would be a wise commanding officer who recognized this.
Is THAT why they did that? I was wondering. How utterly childish.
I got to my computer this morning and found I had a return email waiting for me from someone at legitgov.org. His name is Mike Rectenwald (mike@legitgov.org).
My original email to this group was:
Sure.
Breaking News!!
Dead Witnesses Talk!
Film at 11!!
We mean it this time-CBS
So, he replied. It's not very pleasant and it uses the f-word. So, be prepared. Here it is...
"doesn't your faith based channel cover all the news you need? faith-based
knowledge about WMD. faith-based knowledge about Iraqi ties to 9-11.
faith-based knowledge that your resident is a fucking war criminal who
belongs behind bars across from sadaam hussein. fuck you!"
Kinda sad isn't it? I replied and thanked him for the opportunity to engage in such civil discourse. (sarcasm)
