"If it can't be vetted with a source and facts, leave it be."

What's the harm in someone sending a tip to the RNC? Something interesting was heard on the radio and I see no harm in letting those who might have an interest investigate it. That doesn't mean Free Republic needs to be mentioned.

If you and others want to send such unsubstantiated tips to the RNC, it will soon insure the RNC and others will start hitting the delete buttons for not only such tips, but legitimate ones as well.

Tips should be sourced and vetted prior to sending, at least it gives the recipient some assurance of validity to investigate. To do otherwise is to play into the hands of those that now falsely accuse FR and others of doing such wild rumors crap
