All she said was that the gist of the ad was that it featured her family member saying he voted for George Bush in 2000 but because of XYZ he's voting for John Kerry in this election.
And as for whether it was Kerry or Moveon - she said Kerry was running the ad. But it's possible she wouldn't draw a distinction between the two.
There can't be that many ads running with the "I voted for GW in 2000 but I'm voting for John Kerry in 2004." theme running.
I posted hoping someone who lives in more of a battleground state where ads are running might recognize it. Being in Texas, I don't really get to see many ads because neither campaign bothers to spend much money here.
Its wierd I live in NYC and I haven't seen that many Kerry ads, I see more Bush ads. I guess I should count my blessings!
I am in Chicago, the only one I saw like this had a guy in uniform, couldn't be him.
But .. if you know which station ran the ad, you might be able to get the information about the ad from the station itself. A program director could possibly tell you if the ad is running on their station.
From there you'd have to go to the ad agency who placed the ad. From there to the producer of the ad.
Good luck!
Former Air Force guy McPeak is featured in such an ad. I forget his rank..general I think. One of those perfumed generals like weasley clark. Good for nothing but supply clerking.
