Records Show Bush Skipped Kiwanis Breakfast in 1972

Washington, DC - CBS News is reporting that records obtained by a Freedom of Information Act request indicate that President George W. Bush skipped the annual Houston Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast on January 25, 1972. This occurred at a time in which the future President was a member of the Executive Board of the Houston Kiwanis. "George Bush was AWOL in 1972," said Democrat challenger John Kerry last night during a campaign rally in Massachusetts, a key battleground state in Kerry's attempt to top Walter Mondale's 1984 electoral vote tally. "While I was throwing away my medals and meeting with the Viet Cong in Paris, George W. Bush was skipping out on his Kiwanis obligations. Well, the American people won't stand for this. And when I am President I promise that I'll show up to work every day in order to undermine the efforts of our brave men and women in the Armed Forces and to give aid and comfort to the enemy."

In related news, the Politburo of the People's Republic of Vietnam announced today that it is renaming the city of Hue to John Kerry City in honor of the senator's efforts to promote the victory of international communism.

I heard President Bush was gigged for not having his shoe soles spit shined while in basic training.

How can a man who was gigged, fight and win two wars and get an enemy nation to stop its nuclear research (Libya) be considered a leader? :)

Actually, when I returned from Germany in 1978, I was assigned to Ft. Benning Georgia.

If you were not a Mason in this Army unit, then you could forget about any promotions.

I refused to be forced into something that I did not believe in, and was rapidly re-assigned to another unit in Illinois.

Sometimes, this can get very serious.

The question is did George Bush have breakfast that day and if so what did he have and where did he eat it?

>>>Isn't that what selecting "Humor" in the topics section does.

That's not obvious enough for some people...

"ROFL ... an honest man! ;-)"

Back from the latrine. There must be some story about Bush that can be passed to whoever that is believable enough.

I'm thinking along the lines of Cheech and Chong get kicked out of VN and meet Jane Fonda, Abbie Hoffman and Jerry Rubin have a street party in Chicago. Something that supports vets and makes fun of the VVAW. Just a rough idea.

Kerry just announced in a speech that had he been a Member, he would have organized the Kiwanis almost entirely differently... breaking on Sludge...

Worse than that, he didn't iron his uniform. He wore the same uniform he had on when he climbed on a table at the Officers Club the Sunday night before!

But later on in that same interview, he flip-flopped and said he would have done it exactly the same way as Bush, only better.

George Bush went through the express lane with more than 15 items...

...look on the bright side, @ least he'll know the price of milk @ the debates, though...the "French Poddle" (looking very shocked and dazed) sKERRY, shall defer to his personal valet/butler for the price of these items. :^)

It’s just kind of funny because it’s exactly what the left always tries to do to Conservatives.

Even though it’s satire.. it’s really close to the real deal.
