Let me ask you, were there no Muslims or Hindus in America when we built the Supreme Court with Moses carved into it? Were there no atheist or agnostics in America when we started stamping "In God We Trust" on our money? What about when we added "under God" to the pledge? You see, your argument is their argument. The argument brought forth by those that mean our country harm so as to "liberate" the world from our oppression. Christian symbols "offend" them about as much as seeing a statue of a Greek god in a park "offends" me. This depends completely on intent. I do not think Moses was carved into the Supreme Court with the idea of offending anyone. I do not know the original intent but I assume it was to show the historical figures that helped form the basis for our laws. If others such as Jesus, Mohammed, or any other historical or pseudo-historical figure also appears, I have no problem with that either.
On the other hand, "In God We Trust" was added to our currency, 100 years after the founding of the country, in order to designate the USA as recognizing only one religion. This is wrong since it is being used to specifically isolate individuals. I don't see how this can be justified based on the original intent of the founding fathers.

Intent? Seriously? Who will decide intent? The thought police? ALL of the references and symbols were added for the same reason - that reason isn't to alienate anyone.
As I said, they aren't "alienated" or "discriminated against" they're liberals. They see something good and they work to tear it down.
