Pssst...Bush wasn't there, right, and everyone knows that. So, we all understand when he says Kerry served honorably, the only point he makes is that as far as he knows, Kerry's record IS what it purports to be, and he isn't digging into it looking for lies.

He never trashed the Swiftees. You are spreading a false story. And the only way he "equated" them to MoveOn.org is that he doesn't agree that either one should be forming these 527s & running ads such as these. I disagree w/him on CFR, but Bush is consistent in this view.

Bush is right NOT to engage this. He WASN'T there. He gives Kerry the benefit of the doubt. The Swiftees STILL do their thing. The American people do the deciding.

Bush put the Swift Boat Vets on the same level as moveon.org, Michael Moore, et al.

He could have said as long as the law allows 527s, the Swift Boat Vets have a right to be heard. The way Bush words this, it degrades the Swift Boat Vets.

Bush gives a boost to Kerry every time he says Kerry served honorably (which those there say is not true) and he gives a bosst to Kerry when he puts honorable people on the same level as scum like Kerry's rat pack.

Nice guys finish last.

Those who have a hard time exposing the truth (like Bush) have a harder time attempting to finish first.
