I guess this is the first time in 30 some years that Kerry hasn't changed his position on something. Sounds like a good campaign ad.
The reason that Pres. Bush is doing the things he is doing is pure genius. He does not have to sink to their level. He is giving the American people the chance sink this Bas**** on their own. This fool Kerry is just stupid and condescending to see himself digging his own grave. This allows Pres. Bush to let JFK look stupid all on his own. Take one step back and see if you see what I am talking about.
He is not trashing the Swiftvets. They understand the political point of view and everytime Pres Bush is asked the questions, their message gets across again.
Take a look at the big picture.
BTW.....We are the Bush Supporters who are exercising our rights to tell the truth. It looks better to have the truth come out through outlets like The FreeRepublic etc.
Se what I mean? Keep up the great work and pass the word
That's right. It couldn't have been done without the coordinated efforts of the traitorous Walter Cronkite/cBS and most of the other media.
They're still at it with the coordinated efforts of Dan Rather/cBS and John Kerry playing himself once again. Thank God they no longer control our access to information.
Good point - he was a traitor then and a traitor now....... no flip flopping on that one, unless you want to consider that he was a commissioned officer while being a traitor -
Kerry is a serial betrayer. Glad he has seen fit to demonstrate it for all to see.
And it is about time.
Kerry really is a 9/10 girlie man, living in the past, ignoring the incredible and indubitable FACT that...
our national drive to protect our homeland has been pricked, and pricked hard, since 9/11.
We no longer feel invulnerable, and we no longer will ever join the CBS press types and the klinton, kerry leftist cabal in their drive to destroy our using of our STRENGTH to fight terrorism and USE preemptive STRIKES to shape the peace in this world thru the growth of free societies.
Peace through strength is our cry. We are not a nation of the leftist girlie man, homosexual PC crowd who shiver at their own nation's strength and despise our moral and ethical determination to help others achieve what we have gained through war, ourselves. Both for our independence , through a civil war, through world wars and through other wars designed to protect freedom and communist invasions. One of which, kerry helped our nation to lose.
Nope.
9/11 woke us up and drew us together, democrats and republicans and all, national security is not a partisan issue, it is an AMERICAN ISSUE.
And if there is one thing leftists cannot stand...it is AMERICAN UNITY. (They even argued about press people wearing tiny American flags in the aftermath of 9/11, a smallish fact, but demonstrative of their smallish ideological thinking that anything pro-American is embarrassing)
These people DO NOT GET IT...they LIVE in the past, and probably wish for those hippie days of heady 'peace' concerts, where fantasy ruled and conservatives were all seen as grown-ups, not to be trusted.
"...as far as politics and policy go, he is always on the money."
In this case he is right on the money and, to be truthful, he has been many times before. However, he has had his share of blunders as well.
Recall the '94 elections being hailed as a blanker endorsement of the Republican agenda and the 'Contract with America.' I don't see it quite that way, nor do many other activists. The '94 election was more about the repudiation of krinton's socialism and the threat to American freedoms than it was about Newt 'n' Dole's leadership. It seems to me that 'R' leadership are always happy to stroke the base, but they forget who brings 'em to the dance. The 2A crowd and the anti-abortion people and the myriad of grass-roots conservative activists were the ones that unleashed the '94 backlash against krinton. Newt flat out got that one wrong. The upshot of this blunder surfaced in '96 when many stayed home instead of hailing the genius of the Republican agenda with further enthusiastic support.
In many other respects, though, I miss ol' Newt as well. He did have a talent for shoving a burr up the piping of the port-listing party.
Telling the truth is not "sinking to their level".
Telling the truth can't be compared to lies.
Bush could say that the Swift Boat Vets for Truth all served honorably and many are highly decorated. They have a right to tell their story since 527s are allowed.
Bush could say "let the people buy "Unfit for Command" and let the people see Farenheit 9/11 and the people can judge for themselves what they want to believe." No matter what you call it, Bush has trashed the Swift Boat Vets. Bush has also said Kerry "served honorably". How does Bush know that? Bush was not there.
Thanks for the pic.
"Is that the hat?"
Boonie hat.
A response to libs
Their hands are covered in blood.
Between 10.000 and 20,000 of our men in uniform
died when in front of congress Kerry lied.
An unknown number of our POWS where tortured and
murdered when in front of congress Kerry lied.
over one million Vietnamese died when in front
of congress Kerry lied.
over ten million Cambodians died when in front
of congress Kerry lied.
Kerry's hands and the hands of those in congress
and the media who bought into Kerry's
lies are covered in blood.
Now look at your hands. If you are supporting
John Kerry in his bid for the office of President
of the United States your hands are also covered in
blood.
I have used this on a number of kerry supporters
and it makes them very angry.
Thank you so much for the link to Kerry's POW/MIA cover-up. There are so many people who really know next to nothing about this issue.
I have a family member who was/is one of the missing men in Viet Nam. We never found out what happened to him.
When it was decided that Kerry was going to be the Democrat nominee, I was horrfied! I've tried to explain some of this to my children, nieces and nephews - but have never felt that they truly understood - it was too long ago, I guess.
This article lays it out very nicely and I appreciate you're calling attention to it.
Newt is very effective. Glad he is out there saying it like it is.
Oh yeah! And it is absolutely 'heady' to understand that things will never be the same when it comes to the press... a HUGE MONOLITH of leftist propaganda ( related to never balancing their stories and editing everything to reflect positively on democrats) has been defeated...a MAJOR WAR has been won.
A major cultural battle has been WON by the right.
And this is probably the worst thing that could happen to the leftists in our nation. Their hold on the information has been BROKEN.
Not a bad idea...
John Kerry helped the Communists defeat the U.S. in Vietnam.
The Communists took the U.S. defeat as a sign of weakness.
The Communists, seeing this weakness, opened up new fronts in Grenada, Central America, Africa, and finally...
The Soviet Union invaded Afghanistan.
Which produced the Mujahideen.
Which produced Osama Bin Laden.
See tagline............
Coming soon:
A charge that our troops of the United States of America commits atrocities "as a matter of policy."
