Hello fellow Illinoian. Can you please tell me what you have seen as far as the latest Illinois polls?
My SWAG prediction:
Illinois will be closer, within 5 pts, but Kerry will win it. California may be within 10, but again, it will go to Kerry. The surprises this time will be New Jersey, where Bush will win by a half-percent, Delaware, where it will be as close as FL 2000 but with Bush on top, and Oregon, where W will slide in a victory by a couple thousand.
Another poll has been released showing the Presidential race tightening here in Illinois. According to American Research Group, Inc., John Kerry's lead over President George W. Bush has dwindled to only six points (49%-43%). This is the second poll in as many weeks showing the Democrats losing ground in Illinois. There is much work to be done between now and Election Day. As a result, we need you to get in contact with the Field Representative in your area to find out how you can help Republicans win up and down the ticket. You can participate in phone banking, precinct walks, sign distribution, poll watching, and many other activities to help the Republican slate. The contact information for our Field Representatives is below. Please call or e-mail them and find out how you can help in your area. Sincerely, Judy Baar Topinka Chairman, Illinois Republican Party --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Was out riding around Naperville, Il. today & saw nothing but Bush/Cheney yard signs. In fact, I've yet to see a Kerry sign in any town around here.
