May I ask what is the rationale behind child tax credits other than a voter attraction scam?They make us use carseats for our kids which means we have to buy bigger cars and then use more gas which means we pay more in gas taxes so they give it back in a child tax credit.
I hope that clears things up.

Or, why should children be taxed? They don't earn anything for most of their life while they are dependents.
