Gutless, spineless, dictatorial Dems
Nader for President Mailing List | 23 September, 2004 | Nader for President

Dear Friend,

In the latest demonstration of political bigotry, we find that the Oregon Supreme Court has over-ruled a trial judge decision and ordered the removal of the Nader/Camejo ticket from the state ballot. The shut-down decision came just twenty minutes before the ballots in Oregon were scheduled to be printed.

As in 2000, a solid majority of the American people want me in the Presidential debates this year. But Kerry and Bush want me out because they know I will challenge them on the Iraq quagmire, the corporate crime wave, and their opposition to Medicare for all and a living wage.

The Democratic Party is playing dirty and working overtime to deny millions of voters their choice, via massive phony lawsuits—steered to political judges—and harassing obstructions to our signature gatherers. Why? To keep Nader/Camejo off the ballot and stifle our rights to freedom of speech inside elections. We're fighting back with stamina and a commitment born of the conviction that we are standing for the ballot access rights of all third parties and independent candidates—local, state, national—now and for future struggles for a just society.

We are on the ballot in 36 states and continue to fight in court for at least eight more. So far five state Supreme Courts have ruled overwhelmingly in our favor (Maryland, Florida, Nevada, West Virginia and Pennsylvania) and we are contesting the lone standout, Oregon, as fast as we can get to the United States Supreme Court. To give people what Lincoln termed "a new birth of freedom," we need your generous donations ASAP to overcome the modern-day Huns and their rigged system of Jim Crow procedures. Keep our campaign accelerating against the two-party dictatorship that, tied to the corporate supremacists, is taking our country down.

You are our pioneering backers. You are our inspiration. We can move forward and upward only with your donations now - and your votes on November 2nd.

Sincerely,

Ralph Nader

Nadar supporters let not your hearts be troubled. In all 50 states you may write in for your candidate, whether it's Nadar or Mickey Mouse. Go Nadar!

But Kerry and Bush want me out

Ralphie Boy, its not the Republicans who are keeping you off the ticket.

Maybe he thinks Karl Rove is somehow involved - "channeling" through the DNC...

nader needs to pay for one good ad....
cable will pick it up and run with it on news stations....
one good ad targeting the dems for trying to screw him over and not give the people the right to vote for him....
one good ad calling the dems dirty and encouraging people to vote Nader as a write-in would cause the dems to back off

i just went to the nader website and gave them the suggestion to make one good ad calling Kerry out on his dirty tricks from his 'band of lawyers' trying to keep Nader off the ballot and stifle America's choice and remind people they can write in Nader.

if nader runs one ad calling kerry out on his dirty tricks, the cable networks and bloggers will run with it.

Shhhh!

Not too loud. The Dems will try to tell people they CAN'T write in whoever they want!

DEM :"YOU CAN'T DO THAT!!! THE COURT SAID HE CAN'T RUN IN THIS STATE".
