I don't see why not. I do, and I'm just a fella from Texas. The beauty of the english language is its sheer breadth. We have words that describe anything, and aren't too proud to borrow from other languages when we find one elsewhere that gives that extra bit of nuance that is needed for a particular situation. Heck, we'll make it up on the spot if it results in a word that better describes things than what is readily available in our vocabulary. (i.e., "blogger")
