Minor political parties? Like who, the Democrats?

I figured the X Party was some kind of segregated, women-only party, mainly because it is followed in the list by the Y Party. I was wrong.

One last ping, and again, Merry Christmas. I just finished shopping, but it's for me, and it's something I've wanted for a long time -- the "narration" version of "Blade Runner", on DVD (turns out it was released that way in Europe). Thanks, me, it's what I've always wanted.

1) All ballots need to be controlled by the federal government. It is unconstitutional for each state to determine who can and who cannot run for President. As long as independents and third parties have to deal with 50 different sets of rules, they will never come close to winning an election and the people will never have true representation.

2) In the interest of fairness and democracy, no vote must ever be allowed to be "wasted". To accomplish this, the federal government must force states to use an "Instant Run-off" type of ballot so votes are not "wasted" and people do not feel like they are forced to vote for the "lesser of two evils".

3) The debates need to be controlled by the federal government, not the Republicans and Democrats. Once the ballot laws are taken care of, all candidates on the ballots will be included in all debates. The American people deserve to have a choice. We demand diversity in every other aspect of our government, why not demand diversity in our choices for elected officials.

I'm sure the Yemen Times is pleased (in the spirit of Christmas giving) to provide the bandwidth for this:

And I thought Canada had too many parties.

We had the Rhinoceros Party in the seventies formed by a wacked out hippie. Dubbed the RINO party.

Yes we had RINOs thirty years before the US did.

Most of these parties seem to be a little whacky. :') Merry Christmas.

My take is that all of these parties were formed by people who were never invited to parties.

A very Merry Christmas to you also SunkenCiv.

Don't know about that one, but the AIP, second on the list, made up of people over 60 70 80 who see no reason why Alaska should ever have been, or should continue to be, part of the Union, is still lurking just above the background noise level.
