Channel 10 news just announced that Michael Moore is close to a deal to come to speak in San Diego on October 12. He had been scheduled to speak at Cal State San Marcos, with his fee being paid from student funds, but the head of CSUSM put a stop to the deal, over concerns regarding proper use of student funds for a partisan speech, and the lack of balance just prior to the election.
Now student leaders say they are close to finalizing a deal for Michael Moore to come to San Diego and speak on October 12 at the Del Mar Fairgrounds. He has agreed to waive his $25,000 speaking fee, and the students have raised enough money from donations to pay for the anticipated set-up fees. They hope to announce final details on Friday.
I'm really close to a deal to not care.
While there he will also be doing Three shows a day at Sea world.
SD Ping.
Moore is apparently holding out for a complimentary dumptruck full of KFC in his dressing room...
Get him about a dozen cheeseburgers and a razor! From his most recent statements about the Dem. party and Kerry, he's ready to cut his own throat. Might as well feed him first.
;-)
We all know he's a bottom feeder.
On which side of the San Andreas Fault lies San Diego?
I'm pretty sure we're between the fault and the ocean, so we should be living on a nice island when it is all over.

"Please invite Michael to speak at your college. He needs more corn."
There is no legal contract for him to speak at California State University San Marcos. The reason being, the State University is not allowed to spend public funds on a partisan political activity. That would be illegal, and a valid contract can not be made to do something illegal. Moore can speak, but he can't be paid with State funds. Hence, the leftist students are arranging private funding, while the conservative students are trying to arrange for "equal time."
I guess Shamu was busy.
Fatard ping
The headline cutoff on the main page made me inhale as I clicked it, thinking it might say that he will appear at my school! What a relief that he isn't going to show up, though Del Mar is awfully close for comfort, I can almost feel the gravitational pull that his body generates!
