Seems to me Iowa, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan and Illinois are all "Middle America" and are some of the most liberal states in the country. Something that also comes to mind is a few senators from the Dakotas are Lefties. A senator from Montana is also a liberal.
Hmm, it most be some other "Middle America". I know this part of the country, we saw the muslims dancing in the streets on 9/11. I might as go as far as to say President Bush may carry NJ. That would pretty much show who learned from 9/11 and who didn't.
