Personally, I think that any acceptance of ANY illegal drivers license legislation is political suicide for ANY politician out here. The John and Ken radio show has created a big STINK BOMB for anyone from dogcatcher on up to even CONSIDER signing/introducing an illegal DL bill. The figure was 70% against last I heard. I think Arnie is aware of that, too. His "entertaining" of Cedillo appears to be smoke and mirrors, something the democrats surely can recognize and appreciate. Why do I feel that way? Because the measure did NOT PASS his desk. This after Cedillo was quoted as affirming that Arnie "promised" him he would not veto the bill. I understand "illegal" perfectly. IQ 132. You're right about one thing: There's plenty of smoke and mirrors surrounding Arnold's politics. But I don't think the Democrats are the victims.
