Average American Bump!
I read this here and I ran in to turn it on...
I feel so validated; it's amazing.
When Rush started talking about FreeRepublic, I turned to my mother and pointed at the radio:
"All these years you've asked me what I was doing on the computer, on 'that' website... THIS is what we were doing. We were saving the Republic!"
Ordinary people doing extraordinary things - that's what this country is all about
Someone else might want to store it on their site in case mine can't handle the traffic.
Thanks Rush! (Did I mention I am a fan?)
Lookin' good, big guy!
Just keep on Freepin baby!
It's 4:30 est.
WOWO 1190 in Ft. Wayne, Ind. will have the last half hour of Rush next.
Right after Fox News.
Maybe someone can catch it....
Oh, man...You gotta love it. Nothing more fun and satisfying than annoying liberals.
We are Legion.
I was listening to Rush at work today. It was nice to hear his words about FreeRepublic and all the great freepers. Thanks for the kind words Rush.
Also, post # 47 and FR mentioned hearily on MSNBC today
thank you el Rushbo!
Although I don't post too often, I'm here everyday. A little Freeper on the bottom of the totem pole, but boy it feels good to be a part of something big that is making a real difference. FR and Freepers are wonderful. I'm so proud.

Okay. I have now read 379 posts in this thread. It is time for me to put my two cents worth in.
Yes, as you can tell by moving your cursor over my freeper name, I am a newbie. Well, to be honest, I was a lurker for quite some time, but still am nothing more than a newbie.
With that said, let me caution those of you who are gloating in the publicity provided by Rush to not get caught up too much in that publicity. FreeRepublic did not bring down CBS. Buckhead did not bring down CBS.
The TRUTH brought down CBS, and the TRUTH, in this newbie's opinion, is what FreeRepublic is all about. Let us all stop patting ourselves on the back and go back to what we do best, finding and reporting the truth.
There is absolutely not one thing wrong with being proud to be a freeper, and being proud of Howlin, Buckhead, et. al., but let's please stop with the gloating, and place our pride in being Americans, and our belief that a conservative America is a better America above all else.
Rush was great! As I listened to him, I thanked the Lord that we Americans had the lawful right to post in FreeRepublic.com. As the man once said, "Facts are stubborn things." (and one can smell phonies a mile away.
