ADAMS STREET — A former Democratic district leader Anabil Ortiz was sentenced yesterday to two-and-a-half to six years in prison for sexually assaulting his fiancé’s 13-year-old sister.
Anabil Ortiz, 41, was convicted in June of second-degree sodomy, a class-D felony, which carries a maximum sentence of three to seven years.
Ortiz’s victim testified that he showed her a porno movie and then performed oral sex acts similar to those depicted in the movie, until she told him to stop. Later Ortiz told her he loved her and that she should call him if she ever wanted to do it again, the girl told jurors.
Though DNA evidence linked Ortiz to the victim, he has maintained his innocence.
He was tried in Brooklyn Supreme Court’s special sex crimes court, before Justice James Sullivan.

I didn't think DEMOCRATS were subject to this law. In fact, that is one of the big attractions for becoming a Democrat in the first place - membership in the NY Democrat party is a free get-out-of-jail card that can be used over and over.
All you have to do is keep up the annual contributions. Merely voting Democrat is not enough.
I wonder if the fiance dumped him, or if she is a true Dim who thinks he should be given a second (and 3rd, and 4th) chance...
