>>We have 5 grandchildren all home schooled by right wing conservative, overly religiously, uneducated parents that only have a number of collage degrees. We are really concerned for the loves of our life. The oldest can only get full scholarships and will be graduating from the university on the Dean's list, with honors. The high school senior has been taking undergraduate courses since her sophamore year making perfect scores. These children are artist, musicaians, sports activist, have never been in any trouble of any kind. Oh well you can not have everything.
LOLOLOL!!
God Bless your family!
Thanks for your post.
Our middle child (aged 8) is having problems at school with some other pupils. The school has been made aware of this for some time but have done nothing to deal with it.
Now he is starting to assert himself and is fighting back the school is trying to tell us he has "social problems" (ie when he sat quietly soaking it up & being made miserable, no action required but now he's sticking up for himself and the teachers have the problem of dealing with it, he has "social problems").
I asked his headmistress to separate him from the two kids that bully him at the end of last school year but she refused ("don't want to break up friend groups")
I'm seeing the headmistress this afternoon and if she tries to blame him again or attempts to fob me off I'm taking him out of the school.
I've been calling around other schools seeing if there's a place available but having read your post I'm going to look into home schooling.
Home school ping!
