what a load of bat guano. the only "long, hard slog" I see is zogby's attempt to regain any credibility after Nov 2.

"Actually he had Kerry winning, but now he says it's a toss up. Reality bites."

Yeah, what Zogby ignores in this artice, is the trend. Electoral votes are accelerating in Bush's direction. Until the trend stops, the headline should be "States trending towards Bush".

I find it interesting that even Zogby shows a steady move to Bush confirming the other polls.

The race for President of the United States continued to tighten during the last two weeks, as President Bush continued his long, hard slog back toward parity with Democratic challenger John Kerry,

Could you just puke?

This poll is fraudulent.

Kerry up by 6 in Arkansas? Hell, neither Kerry nor Bush is advertising in Arkansas. It's a solid Bush state.

"President Bush continued his long, hard slog"

He's quoting Rummy on Iraq. This was one of the quotes the MSM used to try to paint the war as a quagmire. I mean, how many people use the phrase "long, hard slog"? As I recall, much a do was made about the phrase when Rummy used it. It had fallen out of vogue until then.

Zogby just told us more about the motivation behind his polling than he intended to (as if FReepers don't already know).

Here's what I'd like to know: I WAS POLLED via telephone by Zogby on Friday. These don't appear to be the results of that poll...I believe it was the "America" poll; but they asked many questions about preference for President, etc. I know the "America" poll is subscription, but you would think they would release the sample results on the Pres. election, wouldn't you?

If anyone is interested, I have some GREAT stories about my polling experience...some comments made the person on the other end of the phone about the opposition, for example.

Oh, Whatever.

I've noticed the MSM hasn't been refering to this guy with the frequency they used to. When even the Old Media avoids results said to be favorable to Kerry, you have trouble.

Zogby's in danger of destroying his credibility completely. If he keeps this up, a good poll released at the end isn't going to save him anymore than CBS' non apology has worked.

Don't pay any attention to ZOGBY.

of course COURAGE is going to pay attention to Zogby... and any poll that has Bush down, in a dead heat or losing... that's what COURAGE does... and that Churchillbuffer person, too...

He is an Arab but Christian.

...and a Democrat to boot! Guess where his allegiance is to!

He is just playing his 2000, 3rd place election guess as a badge of "unimpeachable source" (to quote Dan Blather) of unbiased polling source.

Therefore credible enough to be used by MSM to influence the masses/plebiscite, about the way this presidential election outcome should be!

This poll is fraudulent.

It's not even a real poll. It's Zogby Interactive. Self-selected. Pure junk.

I thought Zogby was a pollster, not an editorialist. What's with all the opinion?

Here's how it works. Zog-me Instant Messages the DNC and the DU to get out the vote at his website the day before he does interactive poll. It's all about giving the MSM a poll that they can report as HUGE BREAKING NEWS: LURCH ON A COMEBACK!!!

Crissy Matthews was doing backflips at Harris's Interactive poll on Hardball and the Next day I thought he was close to tears when Gaullup and CBS/NYT polls came out.

It's all about perception and with that Zog-me aint nuthin but a DU opperative trying to rally the truth.

The Whole country knows W is up by at least 5 or 6 and he is gaining in democrat stompin ground. ie.. NY,NJ,WI,IA,OR,NM,MN...

...so they say, but how about "real" stupids, the narrow minded ones who vote with their feet?...the disenfranchised ones?

Yo, Bud, ya scared me for a sec!
This latest Zogby poll shows significant improvement by Dubya compared to previous Zogby polls. Great news!!! Thanks for the post, but if you don't mind, add something to the headline next time showing that the article is GOOD for Dubya. Thanks again.
