Great Job all. I really like the last pic with 2 of Jax' finest.
Oxen, I missed you, how did that happen? It was quite a crowd.
I especially enjoyed the cops...either in their cruisers or just getting off duty, they ALL either stopped by or honked for encouragement. We were on a block between the police station and the on ramp for I-10 and I-95 during a shift change, in addition to the dozen or so assigned to the event. Many sported their Bush-Cheney stickers on their metal report pads and private vehicles.
I never stopped with the Woo-hoo's!!! and Cheiftain caught me- as always, with my mouth open.
And yes, Spookbrat, I got rid of my big southern hair. Now that I am a Grandma, I am trying to keep it simple. Don't worry about the book, as I said, they tend to have a life of their own and I never loan them out with an expectation of seeing them again!
The Young Republicans provided alot of energy and Flip Flops. Apparently some pictures of the protest were shown on some of the local news updates, because my daughter called me on my cell (I hadn't told her I had cut out of work early) to let me know that "your kind of people" are protesting at the Prime.
I had to cut out early for a friend's wedding rehearsal, but the Freep was truly the best part of my day. Next, time, I will stay for the after action party!
