I think Max Cleland did the one armed hand off to Burkett when he went to Texas to pull his political theater at Bush's ranch.

That's what I think but don't have any way to prove it. Do you know if any evidence?

I'm in total agreement...he got a "twofer" so the DNC would only have to pay for one ticket

The last time line I looked at had just one line. Time typically starts at the top or left and continues down or to the right. As far as I know time doesn't move backwards (unless you have access to the WAYBACK).

I agree. A great cover-up with the visit to the Ranch and a chance to seal the deal with Burkett OR (which I believe) hand the forgeries to him for Mapes and him to fax to CBS.

Thinking back to The Fugitive TV show, wasn't the protagonist searching for the "one-armed man"? Yup, I bet it was Max!

Max is in Crawford on 8/25, same day that Burkett posts that Bush's records are "reassembled." Interesting, but the hourly timeline for those events needs to be examined further. Maybe Max was the curiour for the forged docs, at least getting them down into Texas with a nice cover story to boot.

August 11 Nashville Radio Broadcast Hints Democrats Knew of Coming Memos

[On the] August 11 broadcast [Teddy Bart's Roundtable in Nashville] Bob Tuke [a Nashville attorney and significant in the Kerry campaign in Tennessee] said that by the time of the debates, "We may also know why Bush failed to show up for his medical exam that caused him to lose his flight status." When pressed on his comment he said that, "The physical exam was scheduled for a couple of weeks after the Air Force changed its policy and decided to put drug testing into physical exams so now the speculation is out there about why would a person who has been serving for - supposedly serving for - three to four years in the Air National Guard as a pilot fail to show up for a physical so that he could maintain his flight certification status? Why?"
