Yeah, he'll probably get promoted. He's probably a hero to those thugs. That's unfair to the union. Within hours of this incident, the president of the union had issued a strong condemnation of the action, an apology to the Parlocks, and a promise to take strong action against the offender.
And I'll give odds he'll do it. Having a member smirking at a terrified crying three year old is NOT the kind of face any union is trying to show. Mr. Baseball Cap is gonna catch it in the shorts.

I hope you're right. Unfortunately, my experience with unions (business related) has shown me that what they say and what they do are two different things. Again, I'm hoping things turn out as you're predicting and they do stick it to the guy because that's what ought to happen. BTW, was there more than one guy involved and will they catch it too?

(The modern definition of 'racist' is someone who is winning an argument with a liberal.)

you're wrong. the union described the individual as "overzealous," not the word one would choose if one was strongly condemning the action, or, in fact, outraged by it.
the union chose a euphemism; a word designed to soft pedal.
and the only reason the union did even that?
money.
thugs. the left are thugs.

I'm betting he'll get a nice leather jacket out of the deal. He won't lose his job, he won't be condemned in whatever socialist rag the union prints (such as the UAW's "Solidarity"), and it's guaranteed to blow over in the press.
