Wisconsin: Nader wins ballot challenge, will appear on ballot

The State Elections Board ruled that Ralph Nader and running mate Peter Miguel Camejo will appear on the Wisconsin ballot as a presidential ticket.

The board met today in Brookfield to vote on a challenge by the Democratic Party of Wisconsin. The panel voted 5-4 to reject the Dems claim that the Nader campaign failed to list an elector in the 8th Congressional District. The board rejected 6-3 the claim that Nader was ineligible for Wisconsin ballot status because he is listed as an independent here and a member of recognized parties in other states, which they argued is contrary to Wisconsin law.

The board met for just under two hours on the matter. Nader campaign attorney Robert G. Bernhoft called the decision, "a victory for Wisconsin citizens."

"The board has approved the will of the people of Wisconsin to have Ralph Nader on the ticket," Nader's Wisconsin chairman Bill Linville said of the decision.

I just heard from someone who was at the meeting; this happened just a little while ago. WisPolitics appears to be the first group to cover it.

California: The people are disenfranchised because they might have to go to a different polling place for a special election, therefore the election shouldn't take place.

Wisconsin: The people shall be harmed if a person pretends to be part of a party in one state and is listed as non-partisan in this state. Therefore they shouldn't be on the ballot.

And they like to imply that their party is pro-choice?

Yah!

Wisconson is going for us! It probably was anyway, but now I think we are heavily favored.

Now they'll take it to the courts, I'm sure.

I'm happy to say I signed the petition to get Nader on the WI ballot. :o)

This will hurt Kerry in the state, but will also hurt our Republican challenger to Feingold - Tim Michels. Voter turnout will be higher, and those who come out to vote for Nader will be additional votes for Feingold. We may have become a Bush/Feingold state today.

More good news for Kerry who thought that August was a bad month.

September is cleaning his clock 24/7.

While down in Dane County this weekend, my BIL took a recorded call from Nader (or a Naderite). I guess the call banks don't know the difference in politics between Madison & Sun Prairie (my BIL is a conservative Republican). He looked at me, smiled & said, "Go Ralph go!"

Nadar supporters be advised. In all 50 states you can write in a vote for your candidate. Do not be detoured by the democrat parties cynical attempt to snuff your vote. Good luck.

Still waiting for the MSM outrage over the pro-choice Democrats trying to subvert the democratic process.

Fabulous!

We have a shot there now, in spite of same day Election Day registration and multiple student voting fraud and fraudulent voter State hopping to vote in two or more States..
