Here's a question.
Why do Muslims take the fight against terrorism as an attack on Islam if Islam is not the root problem?
What is the bizarre, group think, the borg-like knee-jerk reaction that denies Islam's part in terrorism when the terrorist are screaming to Allah as they decapitate people?
Why can they not separate the terrorists among them- the Muslim terrorists- from the 'good' of their religion? Is it that the 'good' facade is the fantasy face of Islam? Terrorism is it's true face, and it's heart- and it is too public now, too ugly. It must be denied even as it is attacking.
Horrific crimes have been committed by people of other religions, yet we do not take the actions of those individuals as indicative of those faiths. Because we know they are aberrations. They are evil DESPITE the faith they claim to profess.
I took no offense to Christianity when the Murrah Building was bombed. Because I know that is not what Christianity teaches. That was the perverted act of an evil individual.
Yet here we have Muslims concocting fantastic 'explanations' for terrorism, denial that the perpetrators of 9-11 were Muslim, and going to mind-boggling lengths to portray themselves- and their cult- as inherently innocent.
There is something pathologically wrong with the reasoning that says that not only is the image in the mirror not accurate, there is no image at all!
I believe that their visceral defense of Islam, the denial of it as the basis of terrorism, is proof that they know full well that the world now sees Islam for what it is.
They protest too much- and too late.
Nothing good can come from Islam. It is poison to itself, and now to the world.
