In his blog today, Michael Moore blasted Democrats and called for them to 'stop shaking like a bunch of nervous ninnies' . Moore describes the Democrats as a pathetic party and called John Kerry a lousy candidate. Of course, his rant was filled with his usual attacks on the Republican Party and our President. One thing to note is that Moore hoped that John Kerry's "inner soldier/protester come out" so that it can "defeat the forces of evil we now so desperately face"
Is Michael Moore really calling for the return of a full blown John "Fonda" Kerry? The protester who threw war decorations at the capital steps and now constantly touts those awards as a testament to his Vietnam service? The soldier/protester whose words and actions were used to taunt American POWs? The soldier/protester who called his bretheren in arms criminals and baby killers thus giving comfort to the enemy? The soldier/protester who helped the communist win the war on our home front? Is this really the person who Michael Moore wants to be President to lead us the war on terrorism?
Here is an excerpt from Moore's blog:
"Just for me, please? Buck up. The country is almost back in our hands. Not another negative word until Nov. 3rd! Then you can bitch all you want about how you wish Kerry was still that long-haired kid who once had the courage to stand up for something. Personally, I think that kid is still inside him. Instead of the wailing and gnashing of your teeth, why not hold out a hand to him and help the inner soldier/protester come out and defeat the forces of evil we now so desperately face. I welcome John Kerry to do what Michael Moore asks so that the American people can see the type of person he really is.

That will be interesting. If Kerry gets any boo boos in this skirmish against "the forces of evil" there will be no Purple Hearts for Jaques-strap.

Kerry is getting stuck between a rock and a hard place, on the one hand is the loonie left , which is his base, and on the other hand there is the electorate...
Hopefully he will just disappear down the hole between the two...
