Don't be deceived. Christianity has not EVOLVED into peaceful nothingness. While Jesus showed the world the depth of God's love and forgiveness, the grace period to take advantage of that is not eternal.
Oh, BTW, I agree. Christianity is ANYTHING but peaceful!
