Don't let the freak spoil the Neverland story for you. Peter plays an important role in children's literature. (I wrote many a paper on Barrie in college.) I own at least 20 copies of Peter Pan, most different only by illustration, and I re-read it every so often.

I guess this explains why Peter has traditionally been played by women in the various stage productions. From now on, nothing but Patton and Dirty Harry for my son! ;>)
