Government restriction of political speech and discourse is NOT characteristic of a free society.
If this idiotic position actually became law, the next thing you would see is a ban on radio talk shows, because it would be claimed that they are partisan and confuse the electorate.
I am totally against political speech police. That includes talking with other citizens and obtaining their positions.
