The Muslim population might even be shrinking. The Village Voice did an article a while back about certain Muslim neighborhoods in Brooklyn where mosques and businesses are shutting down because so many of the locals have been deported or have left.
I'm not shedding any tears over that. Mexican illegal immigration is one thing- we can assimilate Mexicans in a couple of generations. I'm not sure Muslims can ever really assimilate into our culture.
Mexicans are easy to assimilate b/c of their Christian heritage. You will never be able to combine religions in a non-secular society. Thanks God for America's Christian heritage and let's never forget it.
In areas where Hispanic immigration is highest, it's not realistic to expect assimilation as defined by previous generations. The explosion of Spanish language media and everyday bilingual nature of private and public facilities points more toward balkanization than assimiliation. The US isn't as threatened as Europe by Muslim immigration, but the sheer volume of CA/SA immigrants is no less a threat, and maybe moreso. We're talking about Texas and the Southwest becoming de facto Mexican states. Demographic shifts of this magnitude, in such a small timeframe, do not bode well for this country, even if the immigrants aren't at odds with the locals with regard to religion.
Watch for those communities in which the Moslems seem to be leaving in large numbers over a period of a few months...it may be a sign of something serious about to happen to that city!

The Muslims huddle around their mosques. Most of the Mosques have schools for Muslim children. Muslims are arrogant people who think their sh*t don't stink and they are somehow able to crowd into lines and be served first. Muslims have no desire to assimilate into American culture. Their desire is to force us into their ways.
Show them no grace. They will cut off your head in a heartbeat with no remorse.
