It was an unfair statement which I am glad you called me on. I was of the impression that Sweden had a liberal attitude about drugs when in fact they have taken a much stronger stand against the problem then other nations in the EU. Sweden's liberal drug policies of the past have changed and they have a low tolerance for drug usage today.
I am simply very opposed to legalization of drugs, partly based on the failed policies of Sweden in the past. In fact, I applaude their efforts and spoke based on a very wrong assumption and old information. Thanks for saying something.

I appreciate your honest answer instead as many here do, flaming you. Just to let you know when I live in Sweden it were virtually impossible to get your "private" doctor to write a Rx, unless you really had a serious medical problem!
When I came to this county 22 yrs ago, I was STUNNED to see the armor of prescription drugs people had in their medicine cabinet or how easy it is to get a Rx from your U.S. doctors. That problem will not disappear as long you see all and hear all the pharmaceuticals commercial 7/24/365. Since a child is able to hear he/she has been spoon-fed with: "Two Advil is better and stronger than six Tylenol." My point is children has been brainwashed that taking drugs is a natural thing to do. Or, the millions of kids that are being drugged in our schools with Ritalin, etc. and all the other anti-family anti-patriotism garbage they are taught in public schools. Pharmaceutical commercials is not allowed on Scandinavian TV. Nuf' said!!!
