The grisly video showing the beheading of American Eugene Armstrong has become widely available on the Internet.

The six megabyte video shows Armstrong facing the camera, sitting on the floor, wearing a blindfold and an orange jumpsuit, arms bound behind his back. Behind him stand a group of five black-clad terrorists wearing hoods and carrying weapons. One of the men reads a lengthy statement in Arabic for the camera. At the end of the statement, the terrorists lean down to hold Armstrong while the man who read the statement begins to cut Armstrong's throat with a knife.
In the video the terrorists have superimposed the sounds of a squealing pig as Armstrong's blood gushes from his throat.
Armstrong appeared to have died quickly.
Armstrong was kidnapped along with two other victims last Thursday from an upscale neighborhood in Baghdad by terrorist group headed by Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, a Jordanian member of al Qaeda.
Also kidnapped were American Jack Hensley and Briton Kenneth Bigley.
Zarqawi's terrorists have said they will murder all three men if the U.S. does not release "Iraqi women" they claim are being held by the U.S. at Abu Ghraib and Umm Qasr prisons.
The U.S. has denied it is holding any women at these prisons, though they are holding two women who had been involved in developing weapons of mass destruction for former dictator Saddam Hussein.

I do not remember any citizen of the USA taking a muslim hostage, beheading him, and then posting it on the internet.

I agree with your thoughts on liberals. They may not want to die from an intruder, but they certainly do nothing to stop someone from murdering them or thier families. They are comfortable giving their life, but I am not going to let them decide my life.

My problem with liberals is that because they are uncomfortable with guns, they assume everyone must be and want to ban guns.
As far as Patton though, he knew history and war. He knew you either destroy the enemy with everything you got right up front, or you end up losing more of your own guys in a protracted fight.

I would do the following - in no particular order:
1. Steamroll all houses of terrorists and their families (Like Israel)
2. Destroy any mosque being used to raise funds for terrorism or being used as a base for terrorism (like we did the church at Monte Cassino in WWII)
3. Arrest any muslim cleric calling for jihad by violent means as inciting violence.
I can list on and on and on. But these would be a good start.

First, bulldoze every mosque in the United States. Round up every Muslim, and give it two choices: It can get a one-way ticket to Sudan, Syria or Iran; or it can have a bullet to the back of the head.
After the next terrorist attack that kills the first American, choose a Muslim city from the home country of the perpetrators, and remove it from the earth with a tactical nuclear weapon. Couple that with an announcement that henceforth, for every American killed by a terrorist, one thousand Muslims will be executed.
How does that sound? Do you need to change your panties now?
I would also deport all muslims who are here illegally.

Friend, you can not claim to go swimming while denying you'll get wet. Your assertions, whether you care to admit it or not, lead to certain conclusions which you quickly deny when things go against you.
Apparently, Islam does not share your opinion of defeating an entire religion and there is plenty of evidence they will not cease to try. You on the other hand, seem to have no problem attempting to weaken the resolve of your own side using any facile cannard you can come up with such as "stooping to their level," which I will not dignify with a refutation.
If you expound on the Bible in such a sloppy manner, living in the Western Civilization, why should anyone have regard for what you think you know about Islam, it's goals, methods, and trends?

Also, if Islam, as backward as it currently is, has been able to survive all this time with a doctrine of "convert or die," what is the basis of your assertion that we can not compel the same of them with our greater strength.
