The grisly video showing the beheading of American Eugene Armstrong has become widely available on the Internet.

The six megabyte video shows Armstrong facing the camera, sitting on the floor, wearing a blindfold and an orange jumpsuit, arms bound behind his back. Behind him stand a group of five black-clad terrorists wearing hoods and carrying weapons. One of the men reads a lengthy statement in Arabic for the camera. At the end of the statement, the terrorists lean down to hold Armstrong while the man who read the statement begins to cut Armstrong's throat with a knife.
In the video the terrorists have superimposed the sounds of a squealing pig as Armstrong's blood gushes from his throat.
Armstrong appeared to have died quickly.
Armstrong was kidnapped along with two other victims last Thursday from an upscale neighborhood in Baghdad by terrorist group headed by Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, a Jordanian member of al Qaeda.
Also kidnapped were American Jack Hensley and Briton Kenneth Bigley.
Zarqawi's terrorists have said they will murder all three men if the U.S. does not release "Iraqi women" they claim are being held by the U.S. at Abu Ghraib and Umm Qasr prisons.
The U.S. has denied it is holding any women at these prisons, though they are holding two women who had been involved in developing weapons of mass destruction for former dictator Saddam Hussein.

You're right about the sound. I don't know where the author got the idea that it was a squealing pig overdub.
A lot of the Koran is metaphoric, describing battles between Islam and other "infidel" religions. Does the Bible not have these same metaphors of battles with other religions who reject Christ as God?
I didn't bring the bible into this. I'm speaking from a purely objective viewpoint. The Bible may or may not say that, but one key difference is that I don't see any Christians perpetrating crimes of this magnitude on the world like the Islamics are. You argue like a Liberal: If the facts don't fit the theory, ignore the facts. Fact: Islamics are murdering people the world over, and in large amounts. Christians are not. We may have at one point in history, but we are civilised now, Islam is not. Stop justifying the actions of these Islamic devils.

War was declared on America in Islams name. Years have gone by and Islam has not refuted that war. Islam needs to be wiped from the face of the earth for the sake of the survival of humanity.

I am asking the same question myself. The technology exists (see US Pat.#6,317,049, #6,072,396).
Outfitting US citizens with these gadgets could be done openly or surreptitiously. In an open way, the gadgets could act as a deterrent to abductions. Secretly outfitted, intelligence agents could act as decoys in order to locate these savages.
This madness needs to stop and these beasts need to brought to justice. No human worthy of existence could perpetrate such acts, no matter what their political or religious beliefs.

Sadly, the video I tried (yes, tried) to watch yesterday didn't have the sounds of squealing pigs.
The sounds were coming from the man's partially-severed vocal cords as blood poured like a hose from the gaping hole in his throat. It was the sound of him trying to scream and breathe as he gargled the gallon or so of blood that was literally pouring from his wound.
I could not watch more than 10 seconds of the video, I thought I was going to vomit. It was truly one of the most vile, disgusting and inhuman things I have ever seen.
It occured to me that there is a hatred breeding in this world, a dangerous hatred for an entire religion. It is almost as inhuman as their own hatred of us, and dangerous because a rational mind cannot be allowed to become consumed by hate. I had to pray for some form of justice and compassion because watching even 10 seconds of this video was enough to almost consume me with this hatred and I don't want to blindly hate. Watching that video made me very, very sick.
This is a lie. The Quran explicitly tells Muslims to kill me and my family. This is exactly the opposite of the message that Christ taught us. Don't try to hide it any longer. Read it for yourself at www.prophetofdoom.net.

This despicable act is so satanic, I cannot and will not view the video. What Mr. Armstrong went through is beyond our comprehension. Our whole world changed after 9/11 (not just the US)..This is a fight between good and evil and as horrible as these beheadings are, we cannot back down..this is what the terrorists want..that is their MO. All of us need to pray very hard.
