Rathergate demonstrates what all of us Non-Democrats (it's not just the Conservatives) have been saying all along: The "Mainstream Newsmedia" is a pro-Democrat propaganda machine and, inasmuch as this is a hidden agenda, this propaganda machine is very dangerous because it dangerously misleads the elecorate.

Bloggers began to disprove the "60 Minutes" story at the speed of light, not the speed of sound.

Dan Rather offered a "limited modified hang-out" kind of apology last night, to use the Watergate lingo.

Rush Limbaugh often remarks that with the Democrats and the Dem-media, the "seriousness of the charge" is always more important than the "nature of the evidence."

When Dan Rather actually proclaimed that even if the documents are bad, Bush still needs to answer the serious questions raised (by the faulty info), I realized that Rush was right.

In that moment, Dan Rather became the single best promoter of the Rush Limbaugh program. Dan proved that Rush was right. And I have some lib friends, like my mom, who I have forced to listen to Rush. Stuff like Rathergate happens, and now they are really starting to doubt the MSM and really gaining confidence in outlets like the EIB.

Thanks, Dan, for helping to keep my friends listening to Rush and for helping them to realize and understand that there is indeed a nefarious pro-Democrat media out there.

Rathergate proved there is an extreme liberal bias in the news. Not to people who already knew it, but to the people who didn't - which helps the cause.

"this was nothing less than a vast left-wing conspiracy"

This needs to be pushed until it sticks. The MSM is the vast left wing Conspiracy from the Boston Globe on the east to the LA Times on the west, they have all joined the left, and we need to make sure this is not just a CBS "Thing" in the minds of the public.

They are ALL guilty together!

(Some times Rush is just too liberal for me :-)

I agree, I am taking an unholy delight in this affair. I'll probably pay for it at the Judgement, but right now, it's wonderful.
