Maryland: Nader placed on Nov. ballot
Baltimore Sun ^

....Nader drew nearly 3 percent of the popular vote in 2000, when he was on the ballot in 43 states. His campaign wants to secure ballot access in at least as many states this year.

Nader's effort to get his name before voters in one key battleground state, Pennsylvania, was given new life yesterday by that state's Supreme Court, which overturned a lower court ruling that had barred him from the ballot and ordered a review of his petitions.

But judges in Arkansas and New Mexico ruled yesterday that Nader should not appear on their respective states' ballots.

In Ohio and Wisconsin, Nader has provisional certification but must withstand protest hearings today. A hearing in New Hampshire is set Friday.

Nader is on the ballot in the swing states of Colorado, Iowa, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada and West Virginia, but not Missouri.

Although Kerry and Bush have paid little attention to Maryland on the assumption that the state will go Democratic, Zees said Nader will start campaigning here Friday with a speech at the University of Maryland, College Park.

Zees said that since Maryland is not likely to be close, Democrats should feel more free to vote Nader.

"Maryland voters are free to vote their conscience," he said. "It's a state where people have the right to vote what they believe in and not vote their fear." ....

Nader is NOT off the ballot in NM.

The ruling was blocked because the judge gave Kerry 1K.

It is going to go before another judge.

How does a oneman party have enough lawyers to fight all these court challenges? Rhetorical question!

Our "unbiased" MSM have made very little comment about the democrats' furious campaign to keep Nader off the ballot everywhere. I wonder why? Hmm? /sarcasm

We (Freepers and others on internet forums) have been very effective in spreading information from printed articles and TV transcripts.

Now we have to start looking for the stories that are NOT being covered, like Holmes' dog that did not bark.

I hold a mirror up to all Dem commentary and activity. I look for the reverse of what is being said or reported. Adding or removing the "not" almost always reveals the truth of what is really in the minds of Kerry, McAuliffe, etc.

Now I am going to try to decipher what they (and the NYT, WaPo, etc) are avoiding reporting. I think that will reveal their vulnerabilities.

The new judge took Nader back off the ballot, she only gave $250 to Dim senate candidates. The deadline for mailing overseas absentee ballots passed yesterday, and they aren't even printed yet due to this idiocy. I guess the NM Dims have figured how to kill the military vote, and may get a Naderless election to boot.

Maryland: Nader placed on Nov. ballot

Wooo-Hoooo!

Now should I take my Bush sign down and put up a Nader sign? Or just put up a Nader sign with my Bush sign?

What to do? What to do?

Now that the latest poll shows Bush and Kerry are 48-48 in MD I guess I should leave things as they are.

Go PIPKEN!

Go FLOYD!

Go W!

I love Michael Steele!!!

His speech at the Repub convention was one of the best I've ever heard, so much so I called his office to congratulate him. It was only on C-SPAN but if you missed it it literally ranked up there with Zell Miller's speech and our beloved presidents'.

God bless Michael Steele!
