Hmmm, I actually feel kinda sorry for the guy. He's in bad shape, sheesh.I know, it's tempting, but try not to go there. Keep reminding yourself that, crazy or not, he tried to take down our President and has been trying for years.

Burkett said he arranged to get the documents during a trip to Houston for a livestock show in March. But instead of being met at the show by Ramirez, he was approached by a man who asked for Burkett, handed him an envelope and quickly left, Burkett recounted.
Wel now it seems there was no LUCY. It was some man skulking around the cattle barn.

Absolutely, we are at WAR, and he is part of the enemy. he doesn't need your sympathy. He'll get plenty in the hospital, if the Dums let him live that long.

Lucy Ramirez = Laura Bush! What a crackpot. Combined with the Lockhart/Kerry involvement, this story should have 'legs' for the next couple of weeks into the debate. And Kerry obviously won't be able to take any questions from the media pool.
To: Cableguy
"Burkett's emotions varied widely in the interviews. One session ended when Burkett suffered a violent seizure and collapsed in his chair."
This guy is crazy.
To: Cableguy
This Lucy crap makes me feel like Ace Ventura.
Finkle and Einhorn, Einhorn and Finkle....
Whats the connection?
To: Cableguy
Look for him to check himself into a hospital and get a doctor to run medical interference for him right before the FBI comes calling to "Interview" him...

You can't make this stuff up. I am still laughing as I read the article.

From USA Today add this to your list:
"About an hour after the 60 Minutes story aired, Burkett also gave the documents to a USA TODAY reporter who had flown to meet him in Bozeman, Mont., where he said he was visiting friends."
Bozeman, Montana?? Getting wierder by the minute.

Totally, Like the guy that just iced his wife a few months back in Utah. Totally agree...

The only thing I've done here is to transfer documents from people I thought were real to people I thought were real.Uh-huh.

Ahhh come on! That's worse than Watergate right there!!! How legitimate is that report, I mean is it valid enough to send out on the newswires and not get a tinfoil hat back in the mail?

The point is that a reporter from Boston Globe interviewed Burkett back in February, but when his story didn't check out, he had sense enough, not to publish it, unlike USAToday, who apparently swallowed his stories hook, line and sinker, without checking them. And the funny thing is that this person supposedly approached Burkett after seeing him on Hardball earlier this year. I'm watching Chris Matthews now, and it's clear he thinks Burkett is a liar and a lunatic. He seems genuinely appalled that CBS would rely on him as the source for these documents, given all the tall tales he's told before.

The Way he describes the Lucy lady, he makes sound like some espianoge movie thriller where there all wearing sunglasses and Trenchcoats. And then the nervous breakdowns infront of the reporter just tops it off. Hillarious!!
Yes he does. And then this meledramatic description:
Burkett said, he drove home, stopping on the way at a Kinko's shop in Waco to copy the six memos. In the parking lot outside, he said, he burned the ones he had been given and the envelope they were in.
A hot parking lot in Texas!
