Interesting Times and Tonk - I hope the SwiftVet guys, in their next ads, make the connection between Kerry's conduct while our guys were still fighting in Viet Nam and his conduct now with regard to Iraq.
Thermopylae and SA Scott, I wanted y'all to be sure and read this editorial!
Good article. Kerry should be embarrassed, but as with all Democrats these days, pride and principle are secondary to power.
Ole Cal nails JFK's arse to the wall.
Imagine all the people, Kerry mislead...
how long before he goes to meet al-zarqawi to discuss the terms of our capitulation?
I call it Treason.
Our Founders would call it Treason.
The 'Nam Vets call it Treason.
I'd be willing to bet our current troops would label it Treason.
John F. Kerry is a Traitor. He betrayed our country not once, not even twice. He chose the side of the communists during Reagan's term as well. This man is without honor.
John Kerry can summed up in one word... "Opportunist"
The problem for John Kerry is that he was successful at taking both sides of the issues while in the Senate. Senators can take the floor and make the case for whatever they're selling that day, but to lead this Nation in this time of war, we need a decisive leader who isn't afraid of spending political capital for what is best for America.
John Kerry is only concerned about political capital and because of this, he is incapable of taking a strong stand on any issue. The worst thing about John Kerry is that he could care less who he tramples on his way to power. After his service in the Navy he crapped on all of his Swift Boat Mates and every patriot who fought in Vietnam. Today John Kerry is willing to paint the great efforts and success of our Military in Iraq as a complete failure, just because he believes it will up his chances of becoming the next POTUS.
IMHO, John Kerry is pulling another 1971
THE Cal Thomas wrote this? Wow! The gloves have come off.
What an Elitist Communist Back Stabbing WEASEL POS...he's literally killing us, all over again. He's the most pathetic person I may have ever run across in my life...and I've seen a LOT of real SHI*BIRDS...he's dangerous, he's devious and he's Hanoi John.
Eight Days Before The Iowa Caucuses...
TIM RUSSERT: "You said this about Howard Dean, and this is, I think, at the core of your candidacy against Howard Dean. '...those who believe we are not safer with [Saddam Hussein's] capture don't have the judgment to be President - or the credibility to be elected President.' As we speak this Sunday morning, Senator, do you believe that Howard Dean does not have the judgment to be president or the credibility to be elected president?"
SEN. KERRY: "I think the judgment of a nominee who doesn't understand that having Saddam Hussein captured will make it extraordinarily difficult to be able to beat an incumbent wartime president who captured Saddam Hussein. And let me tell you why, Tim. Saddam Hussein took us to war once before. In that war, young Americans were killed. He went to war in order to take over the oil fields. It wasn't just an invasion of Kuwait. He was heading for the oil fields of Saudi Arabia. And that would have had a profound effect on the security of the United States. This is a man who has used weapons of mass destruction, unlike other people on this Earth today, not only against other people but against his own people. This is a man who tried to assassinate a former president of the United States, a man who lobbed 36 missiles into Israel in order to destabilize the Middle East, a man who is so capable of miscalculation that he even brought this war on himself. This is a man who, if he was left uncaptured, would have continued to be able to organize the Ba'athists. He would have continued to terrorize the people, just in their minds, because of 30 years of terror in Iraq." (NBC's Meet The Press, 1/11/04)
