Apparently Senator Conrad Burns of Montana was in his Washington office in 2001 when Alec Baldwin came by to lobby him about something in 2001. Burns proceeded to needle him a little: "Why are you still here? I thought you promised to move overseas?" Apparently Baldwin didn't stick around the office very long...

It was nice to learn that Baldwin was reminded about this by at least one person he couldn't ignore.

Well, I will sleep better tonite after Kerry's awful performance. I was afraid he'd muster some personality and win over some of the undecideds.

I consider myself more up-to-date on the issues than any undecided voter would be. As confused as I am by what Kerry said, I can't imagine how befuddled an undecided voter must be after watching him!
