" no outrage -- dog that didn't bark..." Rush really called that one. I assumed it was because it was Rather's daughter that was caught in this (and facing felony charges for falsifying US military documents) and Dan was protecting her. Now it looks much bigger.

Dan Rather has blathered on about the "preponderence" of the "evidence". That seems to mean "a whole big old boondoggle of manufactured proof". Is that about it?

We will probably never know just how big, something about forged documents keeps reminding me of just how JFKerry got his hands on the Secretary of Navy Lehman's signature/autopen in 1986, while a sitting senator.
Lehman said he did not write the citation and he did not sign it.
