Instructions
1. Obtain a copy of the ASCII Electronic Transmittal Form (FORM-ET) HERE, or request a copy by sending an email with the following words in the subject line or body of the message: get form .
Example: get form jsmith@domain.com
Email the above message to ecfs@fcc.gov.
2. Complete FORM-ET using Notepad or another ASCII text editor. Because Email filings are automatically processed, they must include specific ECFS Document Index Terms, and must be computer readable. To this end, FORM-ET includes SGML tags (similar to HTML tags). Fill in each line of the form by entering your specific information after each . Do not remove or modify any of the tags. Type the body of your comment after the tag.
3. Save your completed FORM-ET as an ASCII text formatted file.
4. Copy the ASCII text into the body of a new email message.
5. Email the form to ecfs@fcc.gov. Please do not submit an attachment or reply to ECFS messages.
Email filers will be notified of receipt and either acceptance or rejection and any associated errors via email to the sender only as a reply. If once the email is received and processed any problems with your filing is detected you will be contacted at the email address listed in the tag.
This morning, Laura Ingraham had a lawyer describe CBS's criminal behavior. CBS is an over-the-airwaves product and is regulated by the FCC. The FCC does have the power to pull CBS's license because of felonious and fraudulent behavior.
More than likely there will be other lawsuits. The Killian family can sue. And someone should be going to prison for forging federal documents. Transferring those documents by wire/fax is yet another charge.
CBS does not have a license to pull. Networks don't need licenses. Only broadcast stations have licenses.
Quit running to governement to solve your problems...
Repeat after me: Government is the problem, not the solution...
CBS owns some broadcasting stations. Here in Minneapolis, WCCO is owned by CBS for example.
I am sure there are others, how many? I don't know.
The lawyer on Ingraham's show said they did have a license. Perhaps it applies to affiliates. They are licensed unlike cable stations.
They also own KEYE here in Austin.
The owned & operated stations (like WBZ here in Boston) got fined due to the Super Bowl incident. The FCC could
pull the licenses of the O&Os.
From the See BS site listing affiliates, here are there
O&Os. They also may have ownership of "limited market
agreements" with other stations (for example, in Boston
there's such a relationship with UPN affiliate WSBK)
CBS Owned And Operated Stations:
California - Los Angeles KCBS
California - San Francisco KPIX
Colorado - Denver KCNC
Florida - Miami WFOR
Illinois - Chicago WBBM
Maryland - Baltimore WJZ
Massachusetts - Boston WBZ
Michigan - Detroit WWJ/WKBD
Minnesota - Minneapolis WCCO
New York - New York WCBS
Pennsylvania - Philadelphia KYW
Pennsylvania - Pittsburgh KDKA
Texas - Austin KEYE
Texas - Dallas KTVT
Utah - Salt Lake City KUTV
Green Bay WFRV
Do you want to see:
A. Dan Rather continue, or
B. Dan Rather replaced by Janet Jackson's bare boob?
Myself, I vote for the boob, which is probably more intelligent. Even though it does have a nipple piercing.

Subject: Where is the FCC on CBS?
CBS News is investigating ITSELF on felonious behavior? Isn't this the job of the FCC?
What if, after three months, CBS finds NOTHING? Is that when the FCC kicks in?
This issue should be front and center at any and all staff meetings. No FCC investigation will be noticed - by everyone on the Internet.
I fully expect a response from you within one day. Thanks for your help.
