Chain of events leading up to shooting: at a local gun shop, someone was shot (not fatal), and a white early 20's male made off with a shotgun; all indications are that this suspect then went to the capitol and shot the guard. Only description of perp so far is that he's white, male, with "chains on his pants."

Update: Police might have suspect in custody, captured at 1st and Vine streets, not far from capitol. Workers at capitol are sequestered in offices; other state govt. buildings might be following suit.

Update

One shot fired inside captiol with shotgun, one victim, a security guard that was rushed to hospital. Very many police on scene, helmets and all. Suspect fled thru north entrance (there is only 2 entrances to capitol, north and south.) Suspect threw gun in trunk of vehicle and sped off. No indication that there was anyone else in vehicle.
