Helping with money only is very sanitary. Rolling up one's sleeves is a true gauge of caring.

I noticed this last week: http://citizenvoter.org. Focus Group folks told him to do this -- makes the speaker seem decisive. I can't find any photos of him pointing older than about two weeks or so. Anyone want to help me put together an expose of this posing?

Inasmuch as John Kerry has anything at all to say about Iraq, it is that as president he would somehow expand the U.S.-led alliance by winning over unspecified "foreign leaders" who are supposedly his confidantes. But look how the Kerry campaign treats America's actual allies. The candidate himself has insulted them by calling them "a fraudulent coalition" and "a coalition of the coerced and the bribed."

But it gets even worse. Check out this report from the Weekend Australian newspaper:

John Kerry's campaign has warned Australians that the Howard Government's support for the US in Iraq has made them a bigger target for international terrorists.

Diana Kerry, younger sister of the Democrat presidential candidate, told The Weekend Australian that the Bali bombing and the recent attack on the Australian embassy in Jakarta clearly showed the danger to Australians had increased.

"Australia has kept faith with the US and we are endangering the Australians now by this wanton disregard for international law and multilateral channels," she said, referring to the invasion of Iraq.

Asked if she believed the terrorist threat to Australians was now greater because of the support for Republican George W. Bush, Ms Kerry said: "The most recent attack was on the Australian embassy in Jakarta--I would have to say that."

Ms Kerry, who taught school in Indonesia for 15 years until 2000, is heading a campaign called Americans Overseas for Kerry which aims to secure the votes of Americans abroad--including the more than 100,000 living in Australia.

Well, first of all, let's give Diana Kerry a history lesson. The Bali bombing occurred in October 2002, five months before the liberation of Iraq began. Back then, Diana's brother supported the liberation of Iraq; this was before he opposed it before supporting it and then later opposing it again, etc.

In any case, here we have Diana Kerry, campaigning on her brother's behalf, telling America's staunchest ally that the way to be safe from terrorism is to betray America. Does John Kerry agree?

KERRY'S FINGER
June 02, 2004
www.washingtontimes.com

"Democratic senator — and certain presidential nominee — John F. Kerry, gave the middle finger to a Vietnam veteran at the Vietnam Memorial Wall on Memorial Day morning," NewsMax.com reported yesterday.

"Ted Sampley, a former Green Beret who served two full tours in Vietnam, spotted Kerry and his Secret Service detail at about 9 a.m. Monday morning at the Wall. Sampley walked up to Kerry, extended his hand and said, 'Senator, I am Ted Sampley, the head of Vietnam Veterans Against John Kerry, and I am here to escort you away from the Wall because you do not belong here.'
"At that point, a Secret Service officer told Sampley to back away from Kerry. Sampley moved about 6 feet away and opened his jacket to reveal a HANOI JOHN T-shirt," NewsMax reported.
"Kerry then began talking to a group of schoolchildren. Sampley then showed the T-shirt to the children and said, 'Kerry does not belong at the Wall because he betrayed the brave soldiers who fought in Vietnam.'
"Just then, Kerry — in front of the schoolchildren, other visitors and Secret Service agents — brazenly 'flashed the bird' at Sampley and then yelled out to everyone, 'Sampley is a felon!'

"Kerry was referring to an incident 12 years ago when Sampley confronted Sen. John McCain's chief aide, Mark Salter, in a Senate stairwell after McCain repeatedly offended POW families at a Senate POW hearing. Sampley, whose father-in-law at that time was MIA in Laos, followed Salter into the stairwell and, when they emerged, Salter had a bloody lip and a broken nose."

AMAZING. HOW STUPID DID THE DEMS HAVE TO BE TO NOMINATE AN ADMITTED WAR CRIMINAL AND DOCUMENTED TURNCOAT AS THEIR CANDIDATE?

LOL..that's funny! Not a caption but a question, does Kerry's photographer get paid double for closeups? If so, he should be rolling in the dough!
