Just out of curiousity, what should Bush say when a reporter asks him if he volunteered for Vietnam, as this Col. claims? Why are we diverting attention from Rathergate by changing the subject?

Hopefully the truth...what else would he say?

what should Bush say when a reporter asks him if he volunteered for Vietnam, as this Col. claims? That Vietnam was a long time ago, he's proud of his TANG service and that he respects JFnK's service.
We can handle Dan Rather for him.

Just out of curiousity, what should Bush say when a reporter asks him if he volunteered for Vietnam, as this Col. claims? Refer them to his biography...Bush put the information in his biography about him and his buddy Fred applying for Palace Alert.
