A population that by and large hasn't moved, physically or mentally from their knee walking, kiss the ring, scullycap wearing serf grandparents mentality. The population of Massachusetts fondest hope is to grow up and get a town, county or state job. He's kept his Senate seat because none of the cheap, copy paper stealing sub-electorial hacks could raise enough money to defeat his wives money. Plus Ted Kennedy likes him as Kerry has always been his loyal coat holder, boot lick and boil sucker, and you can imagine how valuable a good boil sucker is to someone Ted's size and skin health sitting on his fat arse all day eating cheese chased down with a fifth of Chivas.
