Lincoln was assassinated in the 1865, after his 1864 election, not his 1860 election. People always make little "adjustments" to fit theories.
Speaking of which, a liberal relative (by marriage) of mine was sending around to her friends an email on the "curse" that she had received from one of her other liberal friends. I'm sure many of the libs/lefties out there are hoping...and perhaps one of them is planning.

I heard it too. It has me concerned. The far left of the Democratic Party has become totally unhinged. They're the ones that caused me to leave the party not too long ago. I never heard this kind of talk to this extent from conservatives towards Bill Clinton. Take this to the bank the left is full of complete hate and rage towards George W. Bush, and it's only going to get worse as we head towards Nov.2.
Worst case scenario - Bush and Cheney are killed after being re-elected, but before Jan 20th. What happens then? Who will be the Speaker of the House then? Will that change? How long will he serve?
