In a nutshell he police attempted to arrest him while he was high on something, he fought with them and they used a lot force to subdue him. Whether or not it was too much force depended on whether you were one of the arresting offices trying to handle a man who was all but immune to tazer weapons and other forms of less force or whether you were looking at the video tape long after the incident. I have nothing but contempt for this man. He fled from police, fought violently with them when they attempted to arrest him and in the end wound up being something of a hero to the lefties. I will never have to worry about that kind of treatment because if I'm told to get on the ground or to put my hands in plain sight I will do it without question. If I'm right and the police are wrong there's plenty of time to address the problem and it will be much easier to figure it all out if I'm not having to recover from a myriad of injuries suffered when I resisted arrest. I have been ordered out of my car at gun point by the police and I can vouch for it being a terrifying experience, but they figured out their mistake a lot quicker because I let them concentrate on that rather than being concerned about what I was about to do.
