Interesting, considering that many of the footnotes of your original post refer to the McAlvany Intelligence Advisor, which has a long-standing record of making stuff up, as long as said stuff might convince people to buy gold. When I was in the Marines, the joke was that "McAlvany's predicted 27 of the last zero nuclear wars."
In the article that you started the thread with, the sole back-up for a claim that the Russians are expanding their nuclear forces is a pair of McAlvany articles; a quick check of this link shows that Russian strategic warhead totals have dropped to less than half their Cold War peak, and that tactical warhead totals are down almost 90%...
