The public record shows China, Russia, Iran, North Korea, Pakistan, Syria, Libya and most of the players that we see involved in the same activities today, and most notably since Sept. 11th, 2001. Of course Bush has thrown a wet blanket on a lot of it which has slowed the incrementalism (maybe), but terrororist orgs and 'reformed' Communists still work closely together, and lead me to believe the continuum is worthy of contemporary updating.

There was a Son of the Morning, who took one third of the host of heaven with him when banished for attempting to usurp the authority, and glory of God, and who rules the underworld.
Ultimately it his he and his servants we are attempting to spotlight. The organizations they inhabit are well known and obvious by their fruits. It doesn't matter what they are called, be it a country, the Mafia, a communist front, a religion, any political party, the media, the UN, many non-profits, NGO's, the homosexual agenda, same sex marriage, or their fruits, such as terrorism, drugs, oil for food, pornography, alcohol, tobacco, gambling, or a host of non-mentioned, evil is alive and well organized to use deception and terror in all of its aspects to see that the order established by God comes to an end, and evil prevails.
As Elisha said to his servant, paraphrased of course, "Fear not: for those that be with us, are more than they that be with them". Only of course because he saw the host of heaven arrayed in battle to assist. This appears to be a losing battle, but right shall prevail, in the end.
