A Fox News affiliate ambushed Dan Rather with a "60 Minutes-style" interview at the airport. Fox News is reporting that a reporter with one its affilates met Rather at the airport and asked repeated questions about Rathergate.
The full interview is to air at 4PM.
Reporter asks Rather if he was douped. Rather says something like "You work for Fox, are you being douped?"

It sure would be nice if this forum allowed users to
edit/delete posts and responses. Perhaps that will be
considered post-election. Many sites offer it.
In the meantime, we all need to take extra time to
[Preview] and proof read (and for basenote Posts,
Preview unfortunately doesn't show the Title, Source,
Author and other stuff).
And we all make errors, even with careful proofing,
so we need to be kind when reporting it.
Oh, now I get it! Douped is the 'French' version of duped!
Works well for the supporters of the French-looking candidate, a la` Dan Rather...

Well there are "Moose & Cheese" threads. I don't know if "Zot!" and the "Viking Kitties" qualify. There have been a lot of flame wars in the past involving (mostly departed) Freepers. Oh yeah, there's the "Opus" - a long, rambling post indicating that the poster is leaving FR/the site is not what is used to be/it's horrible now, blah, blah. To be a real Opus, the poster then hangs around and engages in flame wars with everyone who posts on the thread. Oh, those were the days!
I'd give anything to find a picture from that old SNL skit with Martin Short about a CBS-style attack interview!
I'm wondering...what level of awareness Mr. Rather has of the incredible scandal this has caused CBS News. It seems as though he's surrounded by a great many "yes" people, and given his apparent world view, I can see him REALLY not getting the reality of this entire debacle. Arrogance leads to ignorance...
